"Don’t Push Too Hard" is a personal journal of transformation, written during a year that forever changed the lives of millions of Ukrainians.

Oleksandr Suvorov created this book between March 2022 and March 2023. It grew out of his personal diary, where he recorded his daily reflections on wartime events, transformation experiences, new meanings, and realizations.

The main character of the book is the Achiever—a person used to building, achieving, and controlling. But the war forced him to let go of the "handle"—his metaphorical support. This marked the beginning of an inner dialogue with the Slacker—the other side of his nature, one that knows how to trust the Flow rather than just himself.

This is a book about how to navigate chaos when familiar strategies no longer work. How to find yourself after losing control. How to trust the power of life and realize that happiness is not in control but in interaction with the Flow.

A special part of the book is the atmosphere of wartime Kyiv and Chernihiv: vivid depictions of daily life, blackouts, candlelit dinners, conversations in generator-powered restaurants, rebuilding businesses after explosions, and the stories of entrepreneur friends.

"Don’t Push Too Hard" is a book about inner breakdowns that give birth to new strength. The strength to live when the world has been shattered.
