Greetings.
This is me at the evening of the 10th day of conscious preventive fasting with Alexander Suvorov. My first session.
I was already familiar with fasting. I did 40 days of one-day fasts every Monday. But committing to 10 days is hard, and here...
Not knowing what to expect, my main question was whether I could endure 10 days without food and bring my body back to normal. And at the same time, could I continue to live my usual life, working? But I got so much more...
Alexander is a very experienced faster and prepared a special program for the group. It’s filled with both physical procedures and mental practices. But no “rituals” (those are optional :)
A gift for myself and my future self — absolutely!
Alexander's support is a powerful one at every stage, every day.
His vast experience and lessons every day opened my understanding of how our body works and what this really is — a gift to yourself, not forced torture. The energy was uplifting. Thank you so much for the drive!
The group is powerful. The live communication and daily setup were an impressive support from like-minded people, with whom you experience catharsis — but in a pleasant way! Everyone endured, and moreover, made huge changes in their lives.
What I managed to rethink:
- Nutrition,
- Writing,
- Relationships,
- Mission,
- Communication,
- The day... And everything in life.
Nutrition:
My main concern entering was whether I could last 10 days without food. Our ancestors went through tough times, and life prepares us to be ready for anything. So fasting with joy is a new line in our history. It’s a great contribution to conscious living and personal health.
I’ve developed a desire to approach my diet more carefully. Because our body is a temple, and not everyone should enter it.
Mental practices touch every aspect of life, because otherwise, you end up with a "wrong soup" ;)
Writing:
I used to write a lot by hand, but hundreds of thousands of my words got lost in a drawer. And I began to fear that something would not be preserved, I wouldn’t find it... so I stopped the habit of writing altogether... But when I write now, it feels like I begin to breathe again, like I’ve held my breath and made the first deep breath, and then another. It really energized me.
Another goal was to restart my perception of the world.
I’ve started believing in the future again. And this is an additional request... Recently, I noticed the hustle in my thoughts and behavior, a somewhat aggressive attitude... I’ve been degrading, it’s a pity, but it’s the truth, and I admit this in comparison with today.
I lost my thirst for life, lost interest in creating something, got stuck in the swamp of everyday affairs, and, most importantly, what I considered important to manifest in life got lost in illusory images. It’s like I disappeared from the Earth without fulfilling or showing myself!
On this practice, I managed to take a look at my true self — the one that had been covered with dust.
Habits:
During the practice, you put your habits on pause. For example, I have a habit of drinking Chinese tea. And I realize I should consume it less, but I really enjoy the taste and warmth. A pause in usage is beneficial.
Other harmful habits I left behind in past years...
Practices:
I’ve tried different practices in my life, but this one is the best. There’s nothing more to add. Both my health and mind are falling into place.
Fun observation:
I noticed that many people around talk about food. Really, who ate what, in movies they describe food, in theaters they talk about salo on bread, even describing and savoring it in detail. The smell of food is everywhere.
But I spent all 10 days without a crumb. Amazing!
So:
Not everything was realized to the fullest, since this is my first time, considering the routine.
But the result of the practice is getting to know myself.
In Alexander's book, there’s a quote from David Lynch: "Inside us, there is an ocean of higher consciousness — this is the ocean of decisions. Diving deep, you bring it to life."
I am very satisfied with the result, happy.
I’m sure that the movement is only forward, and for this, I have all the necessary tools. I am very grateful to someone like Alexander, who shares his experience and also offers bonuses.
I’m sincerely grateful!
