MY UNIVERSITIES: DEATH IS A FATAL MISTAKE!
I continue to talk about My Universitys. And the next in my list is Leonard Orr, the creator of the technique and philosophy of rebirthing, american. His most famous book, "Rebirthing in the New Age," impressed me so much that driven by the desire to deepen this knowledge, I traveled to Hainan Island in the South China Sea, where Orr and his assistants conducted rebirthing courses. I subsequently participated in several rebirthing retreats, albeit not in such remote locations.
What is the essence of this teaching? Orr is convinced that most people (if not all) live with ancestral and even prenatal trauma deeply embedded in their subconscious. The rebirthing technique, or conscious breathing according to a specific pattern, allows a person to enter an altered state of consciousness and literally breathe through this trauma, releasing stored energy and thereby improving the quality of life. Moreover, it can extend one's life - even to immortality, as improper breathing learned initially due to ancestral trauma is oriented not towards life but towards death. By not receiving the necessary amount of oxygen and life energy (prana) over the years, the body deteriorates and eventually dies.
In his search for confirmation of his theory, Orr spent a lot of time in India, where he sought meetings with people living on Earth for over a hundred, or even over a thousand, years. He claims to have found them, talked to them, and gained important knowledge.
According to Orr, aging and dying are nothing more than habits, our social conditioning. This is a very harmful habit that pushes us towards death from birth. He claims that through meditations involving proper breathing, one can indeed achieve immortality.
There is nothing complicated in the rebirthing technique: you lie on your back and breathe according to the pattern, gradually entering a deep trance. On a physical level, the body may convulse, and there may be cramps. However, with time and practice, these sensations subside.
Every morning at 6 a.m. in Hainan, we would go to the seashore, lie on the warm sand, and breathe for about three hours under the careful guidance and observation of Leonard Orr's assistants. Then we would spend another hour coming back to ourselves and then listen to lectures and read appropriate books.
Rebirthing allows one to literally breathe through problems, traumas, and release body tensions.
"The philosophy of physical immortality frees the mind from all fears and misfortunes," writes Orr. Not everyone is destined to achieve immortality in the end, but the idea that death is inevitable, in his opinion, kills a person faster and more effectively than anything else.
