MY UNSVERSITYS: LIVING HAPPILY IS HINDERED BY MENTAL MASTRUBATION.

Next was Dmitry Leushkin, the author of the book "Turbo Gopher" and the methodology of "brain repair" described therein. The main idea: we take full responsibility for what happens in our lives, both the good and the bad. Therefore, there is no need to look for culprits in your troubles. If something is going wrong and you want to change it, you need to "repair your brain." Much of this process involves working through the negativity from the past: traumas, grievances, and beliefs. According to Leushkin, it is in these that the root of all present problems lies. "Ultimately, for the practitioner, the past ceases to exist as reality, turning into what it really is - simply a collection of archival recordings, not a scary cave full of demons," writes the author of "Turbo Gopher."

Mental masturbation, largely based on rehashing the past or constant references to it, hinders us from living happily.

How to work through the past? Through the subconscious. The main part of the practice consists of reciting specific protocols or instructions. Thus, information is loaded into the subconscious, and it works with it without our participation.

I devoted five years to this practice! With breaks. They are necessary because the processes set in motion are very powerful, and if you don't take breaks, you can harm yourself. Leushkin monitored this very strictly. In his teaching, like in Vadim Zeland's Transurfing, to which I will come in this chapter, there are pendulums. In Leushkin's teaching, the pendulums are setbacks into disbelief, emotional and physical ailments that can accompany the practitioner on the path. They need to be taken into account and not overdone. Breaks could last for six months or a year.

I followed the instructions closely, but I can't say that the practice worked 100%. Why? Probably because of the discrepancy between the result and the expectation. As a hardened achiever, my expectations were inflated. I was used to the idea that if you work hard and persistently on something, the result should be corresponding and preferably quick. But working with the subconscious, like most spiritual practices, does not yield quick and obvious results.

Nevertheless, Leushkin's techniques became an excellent cultivator of my soil, prepared it for new knowledge, and in some areas completely rid it of weeds.
